The Grenada Technical and Allied Workers’ Union, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, will be hosting six (6) half day workshops

spread over a six (6) week period.


The workshop will be held at GTAWU Conference Room, Green Street, St. George commencing on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. However, on the 2nd and 6th week it will be held on Wednesday, September 20 and Wednesday, October 18, 2017

respectively.


For many years, GTAWU in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and other key stakeholders, have been engaging workers in meaningful

activities focused on management of Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases. These activities have helped many workers with life style

changes which have meaningfully impacted their health.


Benefits to be derived from this educational activity will include reduced absenteeism and increased productivity.

 

GTAWU is of the firm view that there is a need to strengthen the capacity of to advance healthy living.
