Comrade JAMES CARYLE WARDALLY better known as JIM WARDALLY of Mt. Parnassus, St. George's who resided at Stockholm, Sweden Died age 65 in on the 16th day of January 2012

Wardally was the 4th President General of the Grenada Technical and Allied Workers' Union and served in that position from 1980 to 1984.

Jim was a Senior member of the New Jewel Movement, a member of the CPUSA and a student of the Late caribbean revolutionary intellectual CLR James.
James Carlyle wardally was the son of the late Cosmos Wardally. He is survived by his mother Christiana Lewis of Radix, Mt. Parnassus St. George; CHILDREN : Jillian Turman, Jason and Jasmin in the USA
Grand children : Joshua, Bethany Brian in the USA

Brother of Judith Wardally De Gale, Brenda Wardally, Leslyn Simns, Kathleen Wardally, Dean Wardally, Meryl Yearwood, Cosil Joseph.

Father in law of Brian Truman in the USA.

Nephew of Ralph Wardally in Trinidad, Evelyn Wardally Grenada, Vennie Edwards in the UK Stella Charles and Stennie Edwards in USA

Numerous Nephews and Nieces in the UK and USA Special friend and caretaker Paulina in Sweden, Jill Cornwall in the UK, Chester Humphrey,Roy Cooper Nicholas "Chicken" Simon, Roy "Peas" former workers of Public Works Garage; Julien Mitchell Springer and numerous comrades and friends in Grenada and all over the world.

The Tribute and salute to the life and times of the late Comrade James Carlyle Wardally and his funeral ceremony will take place at the Market Hill Pentecostal Church, Market Hill, St. George on Thursday, 23rd February 2012. The programme commences at 1:00 pm and will include a religious service.
